Families of prospective Georgia Tech students will be severely impacted this year due to the adverse financial times, while at the same time Georgia Tech budgets and the ability to provide scholarship money are greatly restricted. Now more that ever it is important that we do what we can locally to help exceptionally well qualified students get to Tech.

Georgia Tech Admissions has recruited here the past two years and we are anticipating a number of qualified applications. As an early indicator, 5 students from Colorado have made semifinalist for the Presidential Scholarship. These are tomorrow's leaders, but the competition is fierce and not all will get a Presidential Scholarship, leaving the Colorado GT Club with excellent choices for the club scholarship and the opportunity to secure a good student for Tech.

To make a tax-deductible donation to this years Club scholarship, send your check made payable to the Georgia Tech Foundation to Bill Winn at the address below. Please note on the memo line of your check "Colorado Scholarship Fund".  You can also donate online here

Thanks to you and best wishes to you and your family.
